Oppan Youtube Style...

Ola lovelies! :)
So. I’ve created a YouTube channel. AHHHHHH *insert petrified face here* haha. Basically I’ve created the channel to store memory videos and bits and bobs like that. I have a few videos up already from the 1D concert, if you’d like to check them out click here! My YouTube username is LucyMagsTV. I hope to also be uploading some vlogs and make up reviews etc in the future, but right now I don’t really have the confidence to do so. Buuuuut, maybe when I get to college it will be different :) So yeah! I just wanted to let you guys know that, and also that I may not be online for a while, as I have a lot of school work to do since it’s my final year (here’s hoping...) and also, I am taking part in a Youth Group to go to Medjugorje in August this year, so we’re quite busy fundraising for it. Last night we had a pub quiz and raffle and we managed to raise just under £1000, wowza! Thank you to anyone who donated, it is greatly appreciated :) <3 Umm, I think that’s everything? Knowing me, I’ll probably remember 23987434 things I should’ve mentioned in this post as soon as I hit “Publish” but hey ho :P

Hope to speak soon!

Benefit “They’re Real!” mascara review!

Helloooo lovelies!
Apologies for not posting before now, but I’ve been waiting for something worth reviewing, and what better product to write my first make up review on than Benefit’s They’re Real! mascara?!
Alrighty then, let’s get started! :)
Firstly, I want to start off by saying that I was a bit sceptical about this mascara. The reason for that was because of the statistics on the packaging. I’m never a big fan of products that “98% of women...” blah blah blah, because I feel that they’re quite...brag-y? But that is just my personal opinion. However, a cousin of mine suggested I tried it and so, after walking past the Benefit counter about 10 times, I finally purchased it.

The thing I love most about this mascara is most definitely the brush. It’s thick which means it gives great coverage and you get LOTS of volume. The plastic bristles coat each lash but it doesn’t clump them. You can also layer it for extra va-va-voom! There are extra bristles on the top of the brush which allows you to reach those annoying inner and outer lashes! This mascara is not waterproof but when I wear it anywhere, it sure does act like it is. There is also the option to buy a travel size version of They’re Real! if you want to try it for yourself first before investing in the full sized version.
So, as I said above, I was sceptical about this product so I didn’t actually expect much. Boy was I wrong. Below you can see my eye before and after “They’re Real!” All I had on beforehand was foundation.

The only cons I would have to say about this, is that it is rather expensive. However, it is an excellent mascara and I’ll definitely be buying it again! Also, taking it off at the end of the day is a bit of a nuisance, as the staying power is SO good!

Overall, I loved this mascara and I’m sorry I didn’t try it sooner than now! I’ll definitely be sticking with this one for a while. Thanks, Benefit! :)

Packaging: 3/5
Quality: 4/5
Staying Power: 5/5
Price: Travel size- £9.50 Full size- £18.50
Available: Most Boots, Debenhams and online.
Overall score: 4/5

Have you tried Benefit’s They’re Real! yet? If so, what do you think of it? Leave your reviews in the comments below!

The Best Night of my Life Ever, Ever, Ever, Ever.......Ever.

Oh my goodness.

To be quite honest, I don’t even know how to start this post...all I can say is ONE DIRECTION.
Yep. Me, the social recluse, saw One Direction last night in Belfast and it was amazeballs.
Two of my friends, Rachel and Fiona, Rachel’s sister Catherine, and I went to the show. Although, like always, not everything went according to plan...
When we got to the Odyssey Arena, we decided to go get something to eat in Pizza Hut before heading to the show. We placed our order with a boy who could have been Caspar Lee’s twin. Freaky. We got two wrong orders, an apology, free garlic pizza bread (score!) and tears of laughter through the whole meal. Funniest meal ever! Lol We then headed to the show.
The support act was called "5 Seconds of Summer” who were from Australia and I would highly recommend that you check them out. One of my favourite songs they performed was “Heartbreak Girl” which you can download for free here They really pumped up the crowd before the boys came on and were insanely good musicians! The crowd loved them and I’m sure it won’t be the last you hear of them! :)
Then, it was time for One Direction... *insert dramatic music here*
I can honestly say that I have never felt such overwhelming awe before in my life, as I did when they came onstage. I can’t even explain how I felt. To hear the screams of the thousands of fans was incredible. I cannot begin to imagine how it must have felt for the boys.
If you did manage to get tickets to one of the shows, I hope you had/have a brilliant night! And if you didn’t manage to get tickets, don’t fret, I’m sure your time will come :)
I am extremely grateful that I got to see the boys perform live and they certainly did not disappoint. It was a night I will never forget and I’m so glad I can share it with you all! You can see *some* of the photos I took last night below. I don’t think it’d be very sensible for me to upload over 200 pictures...oops. All pictures were taken on my phone or digital camera so they aren’t the best quality but I think they’re alright :)
*Note* Because I’ve lost the charger lead for my digital camera, I’ve had to take a photo of the camera screen with my phone in order to get the picture. However, when I find the lead, I’ll upload the original pictures. :)
